Labor Day Extended Cruise September 2-7 for Invitees only
Celebrate your Labor Day weekend by making it longer!

Skippers: Please email Chestertown Town Marina to reserve a slip for Friday, Sept. 4 and Saturday, Sept. 5. This is a popular weekend so please book early. 

Planned itinerary includes: Eagle Cove on the Magothy River, Corsica River, Chestertown Town Marina for two nights, Langford Creek

Chestertown Town Marina is located just steps from the heart of this charming historic town. Enjoy easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions, along with floating docks and two complimentary kayaks available for marina guests.

Crew - If you are interested in joining the extended cruise and haven’t yet been invited by a skipper, please send an email to Laura Keough  to be added to an interest list that skippers can reference as they are seeking crew.

Reminder of how the extended cruises work:

• Skippers invite their own crew for the extended cruise, so now is the perfect time to begin extending invitations.
• As a courtesy, there will be a list of members interested in crewing that Laura Keough will maintain and skippers can reference as they are seeking crew.
• Cruising expenses are shared between the skipper and crew. Crew will also pay an additional cruising fee when they register.
• Skippers and invited crew should register on the SOS website.
  

Cost: $75 Plus costs associated with extended cruising (provisions, water, pump outs, slips, etc.)

SOS Wellness Policy
All participants attending SOS in-person events should be feeling well. They should not attend an event if they have symptoms of a communicable respiratory or gastrointestinal illness, are “feeling like something is coming on,” have a recent significant exposure to someone with a communicable respiratory or gastrointestinal illness, or have not waited a recommended isolation time after a recent respiratory or gastrointestinal infection.
In addition, a skipper/host may have further requirements or request other preventive measures (for example, crew or guests having received the currently recommended COVID-19 vaccine or wearing masks when below deck).  All in-person participants should expect to be denied admission without a refund if they fail to comply with this policy.
